Before joining The American Assembly as a Staff Associate, Cadence Bambenek spent some time writing about financial technology at a startup and an even longer time fact-checking feature-length stories for publications including Discover and Popular Science on topics ranging from ecology to psychology to autism to technology to finance to archaeology to space. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Cadence also previously interned at Wisconsin State Journal, Business Insider and Psychology Today.
