American Assembly to Launch New Initiatives

In April 2019, The American Assembly board of Trustees appointed Peter Bearman, director of Columbia’s Interdisciplinary Center for Innovative Theory and Empirics (INCITE), as the new president of the American Assembly, and approved a new vision for the organization. Through its alignment with INCITE, The Assembly will redouble its efforts to bring innovative research, rigorous analysis, and potent strategies for intervention to the public forum.
